Kodak Picture Disk®

Free Kodak Picture Disk® with develop &print order, single prints 35mm!

Develop your photos and get them on a floppy...what could be easier? Castle Photographic now offers your images scanned to inexpensive floppy diskettes in low resolution JPEG files for use in e-mail, screen savers, internet, and output via desktop printers. A new and exciting way to view your images on your PC! Bring your unprocessed C-41 35mm color roll film in for Developing & Printing and 2 for 1 Prints and we'll include all your photos on a 3.5" floppy diskette*.

Software included on the diskette: Kodak Picture Disk® Viewer for Windows, automatically written to each floppy.

Benefits are ease of use, as JPEG files work for many low-end applications. Most imaging programs use JPEGs, and it is a cross-platform file format.

Recommended system requirements are:

• Windows 3.1 software or greater, including Windows 95®
• DOS 5.0 or Greater
• 486/25 MHz Processor or Higher
• 8 MB of RAM
• 8 MB of Virtual RAM
• 3.5” High-Density (1.44MB) floppy drive
• 256-color monitor (SVGA or better is recommended) or more (thousands or millions of colors)
• 24 Exposures *Add $4.99 or FREE with single print order at time of Develop and Printing.
• 36 Exposures *Add $5.99 or FREE with single print order at time of Develop and Printing
• Scan Prints, Negs, or Slides to Disk (minimum 10 per order) $1.19 each.
• Film Processed by Kodak Royal Lab from Castle Photographic.
• You can Choose your Kodak Lab Grade.
• With Kodak Royal Paper®

Macintosh computers, can view images using other software programs capable of displaying JPEG files.

Images may be printed from the Picture Disk, but they will be small. The better the printer the bigger and better quality your print can be. You should be able to produce a rather good 4” x 6” image from most laser and ink-jet printers, better if you use photographic quality paper. For higher quality outputs check out Image Magic®.
